Notice regarding upcoming fee increase

Canadian Western Trust (CWT) currently provides trustee and custodial services to the Public Employees Deferred Salary Leave Plan. The Recordkeeper Ltd. is responsible on behalf of CWT for updating and maintaining member files, processing withdrawals and preparing monthly Plannera reports and semi-annual member statements.

Effective January 1, 2022, The Recordkeeper Ltd. charges a minimum administration fee of $1,500.00 per quarter to the Plan. This fee will be allocated based upon active members for the quarter to arrive at the corresponding charge to each member account.

For example, as at December 31, 2021 there were 49 active plan members. Allocating the $1,500.00 administration fee results in a $30.61 (plus GST) quarterly fee being charged to each member’s account.
