Postal Service Disruption

Canada Post service disruption may result in delays in mail being delivered to and from Plannera. To help ensure prompt delivery of your pension or benefit payments, you may wish to consider Direct Deposit as a convenient electronic service. With Direct Deposit, you can have your pension or benefit cheques automatically deposited to your bank account at no extra cost. There are no delays due to mail disruptions and no need for you to deposit your cheque in person.

Pension Administration

Plannera administers a variety of pension plans including DB and DC plans.

Public Employees Pension Plan (PEPP)

PEPP is a Defined Contribution (DC) pension plan with 148 participating employers and over 73,000 members. You and your employer contribute to the plan. These contributions, plus any return on investment, will provide you with income based on your account balance when you retire.

Municipal Employees' Pension Plan (MEPP)

MEPP is a Defined Benefit (DB) pension plan administered by Plannera. This plan provides retirement benefits to:

  • employees of school divisions;
  • urban and rural municipalities;
  • regional colleges;
  • regional public libraries; and
  • other local authorities within the Province of Saskatchewan.

There are 755 employers and over 20,000 members and 7,000 pensioners in MEPP.

Plannera administers several defined benefits plans on behalf of various employers under The Public Service Superannuation Plan (PSSP).
